A major European glass processor and Low-E specialist Interpane took delivery of its
first Uniglass tempering line at its architectural glass plant in Buxtehude, Germany in
spring 2006. Interpane group has eleven production facilities at ten locations in Germany,
France and Austria, where a second Uniglass furnace, a UGCPlus UniCharge 2400 x 4200,
was delivered to Interpane's Parndorf works in March 2007.
Jörg Bohemann is the Managing Director of Interpane's Wippersürth works in Germany
and Technical Director at Interpane's factory in Parndorf, Austria. "The Uniglass technology
produces a really good quality of glass with no waviness," he reports. "It was the whole
package – the price, the technology and level of service and the fact that Uniglass has a lot
of experience with this kind of furnace," Bohemann continues.
